Like no other Beach Hike out there. We're combining Nature / Meditation and Beach hiking all in one extraordinary trip. 

As we hike in the sands on our way along Long Beach to the beautiful Atlantic Beach front we learn all things 'nature'. Guided by the great Melissa Boo (Awards in Environmental studies, BA Environmental studies, instructor at the wildlife conservation society) will lead the group and teach us a different nature topic each month. Themes include: Geology, Plants, Erosion, Sea Life and Mammals, Birds, Native American History, Naturalists of Long Beach and spirituality. She is not only certified in Environmental studies but she is also a fully fledged Yoga and Meditation instructor. We'll also be doing a special 'Earth Day' and 'Summer Solstice' beach hike too, email us for that bornwild@bornwild.rocks ! After we have hiked along the beach, we will arrive at our beach spot where Melissa will be giving us 45 minutes of healing and soothing meditation on the beach to still the mind and switch off from our busy lives. 

Enjoy this peaceful meditation on the beach as we experience the healing events of nature. The goal of meditation is to go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature—which is described as peace, happiness, and bliss. Perfect for anyone who's looking to meditate, relax, learn, make new friends or do something a little different by the beach! Weather permitting this hike is approx 3 hours. 2 hours hike in total, 45 minutes Meditation. 

Group Size: Between 3-15 people

Activity Level: Basic to moderate

Travel: Accessible by LIRR from Queens/Manhattan/Brooklyn. Parking available! 

Please bring: 2 litres of water, lunch or snacks, rain gear, sunglasses and sunscreen, extra layer of clothes, hat if needed. Beach or work out clothes are great for this trip. Footwear: bare foot, sandals, sneakers, flip flops.
