We share the forest with many of our amphibian friends but rarely do we get to handle them! On this special Discovery Hike we'll be discovering amphibians and reptiles in the most beautiful parts of the Delaware Water Gap. This hike is one of a kind!

Our Guide and Herpetology extraordinaire - Joey Vulpis (Owner and Guide of NMG and President & Co-Founder at American Hiking Guides Association) will be taking us to spots along the southern part of the Delaware Water Gap, hiking along the creek bed where we will make the most of finding these weird but wonderful creatures exploring everything from fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals along the way. This unique hike offers us a chance to explore the living creatures of the forest, pick them up, study and learn about them. Not only will we be on the search for critters but Joey will be taking us to those secret spots of where to find them, leading us along a deserted rail track throughout the forest and ending the hike at the magnificent 50 ft waterfall. A unique and eye-opening experience.
